T&C’s
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. USED BICYCLES
All bicycles sold by Humberside MTB’s are pre-owned unless otherwise stated. As used bicycles, normal signs of wear, cosmetic marks, age-related deterioration, and previous use should be expected.
2. INSPECTION AND TEST RIDES
Customers are encouraged to thoroughly inspect and, where possible, test ride the bicycle prior to purchase. By completing the purchase, the customer confirms that they have had sufficient opportunity to inspect and assess the bicycle and are satisfied with its condition.
3. CONDITION OF SALE
All bicycles are sold in the condition in which they are presented at the time of sale. Any known defects or issues identified during preparation for sale will be disclosed where applicable.
4. COMPONENT WEAR AND LIFESPAN
Bicycles contain numerous moving parts and wear items, including but not limited to bearings, suspension components, drivetrains, brakes, tyres, wheels, batteries, motors, electronic components, seals, bushings, and other consumable parts.
Due to differences in rider weight, riding style, terrain, maintenance, storage conditions, environmental factors, and general usage, Humberside MTB’s cannot guarantee the future lifespan, reliability, durability, or service life of any component once the bicycle has been sold.
5. NO GUARANTEE OF FUTURE PERFORMANCE
Whilst every bicycle is checked and prepared to the best of our ability prior to sale, Humberside MTB’s cannot guarantee against future mechanical failures, wear-related issues, component deterioration, or faults that may develop after the bicycle has left our possession.
6. OWNERSHIP AND RESPONSIBILITY
Responsibility for the bicycle transfers to the purchaser immediately upon completion of the sale and collection or delivery of the bicycle. From this point onwards, the purchaser is solely responsible for the inspection, maintenance, servicing, safe operation, and continued upkeep of the bicycle.
7. POST-SALE ISSUES
Humberside MTB’s cannot be held responsible for issues arising from misuse, crashes, accidental damage, transportation, neglect, improper maintenance, modifications, normal wear and tear, component fatigue, rider error, or any circumstances occurring after the bicycle has left our possession.
8. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By purchasing a bicycle from Humberside MTB’s, the customer acknowledges and accepts that:
• The bicycle is a used item unless otherwise stated.
• The bicycle has been inspected and/or test ridden to their satisfaction.
• They are satisfied with the condition of the bicycle at the time of purchase.
• No guarantees are given regarding the future lifespan of any component.
• Responsibility for maintenance and repairs transfers to them upon completion of the sale.
